Syphon

Fear the binder that holds me tight
The siphon that saps my will to fight
I can't control the feelings inside
I search and search but cannot find
The strength to put it all aside
And from out of the darkness the enemy stalks
With sword in hand still nearer he walks
He glares at me with eyes of fire
As he hefts his weapon he roars with ire
Down comes his blade straight and true
Down to collect what he claims his due
