Eye attempt

My attempt at drawing an eye from my head (no pun intended). I was just bored and was trying to show my younger cousin how to draw a few things and I started out just sketching out an outline and putting very little detail into it. But over time me just sitting there it turned into like 2 hours of adding detail after detail. I used no reference picture so if it looks a little funny that's why I just popped this out of my head.

Materials used:
Medium weight paper (50lb) 9.5 X 6 inches
2B standard graphite pencil
blending stumps
kneaded rubber eraser
white gel pen (for highlights)
